The Quiz

Official Rules

  1. All quizzes will be announced on the front of the site and will run for one month.
  2. I will only use official releases (see CDs), excluding the Anthologies and Live at the BBC, to get the sound clips.
  3. You may make only one entry for each Quiz. Once submitted, you are not able to change your answer.
  4. The official name of the song must be used. For example, I would not accept "Mother Superior" if the song is "Happiness is a Warm Gun." I will be lenient with spelling and/or one or two words slightly off, but I will make the final decision on each entry.
  5. Unfortunately, I do not have the time to reply to individual entries. The answer will be posted on the site the month after the clip was posted, and that clip will be available with the answer for reference. If you correctly name the song, your name will appear on the Winners page. If you are wrong, your name will not appear on the Winners page.

Privacy Policy
Since I am now gathering information from you and storing it in a database, I thought it would be appropriate to have a privacy policy, no matter how poorly written...

  1. The information gathered through the Quiz interface is collected only to promote a community centered around the Quiz.
  2. The only information you are required to submit is a valid email address which is to allow other Quiz participants to get into contact with you and for Quiz-related purposes. Upon request, you may prevent your email address from being displayed in the User Profile.
  3. You will not receive unsolicited email from me. I plan to offer an email notice option in the near future which will be opt-in only and you will be able to add or remove yourself from that list at any time.
  4. Upon notice to me, you may request that your records in the Quiz system be destroyed for whatever reason.
  5. I will never sell or use your information in any way other that those described above.
